About the Role

Our client, a renowned leader in precision manufacturing and industrial automation, is seeking an experienced Lead Equipment Calibration Specialist for their facility in Cape Town, Western Cape . This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all measurement and testing equipment used in production and quality control processes. The Lead Specialist will oversee a team of calibration technicians, develop and implement calibration procedures, and maintain calibration records in accordance with international standards. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous approach to work, a deep understanding of metrology, and a proven ability to lead and mentor technical staff. This position is critical to upholding the high standards of quality and precision that our client is known for, directly impacting product integrity and customer satisfaction. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that all operational equipment functions within specified tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain calibration procedures and schedules for a wide range of measurement and test equipment.
• Perform calibration and verification of mechanical, electrical, and electronic test equipment.

• Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
• A relevant qualification in Engineering Technology, Physics, or a related scientific field.
