Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in precision equipment calibration across multiple measurement disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of metrology principles and calibration techniques for electrical, dimensional, thermal, force, and pressure measurements.
• Proven experience with ISO 17025 environments and accredited labs.
• Proficiency with calibration software and data management systems.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent remote communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical procedures clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload in a fully remote setting.
• Certifications (e.g., Certified Calibration Technician) or a technical degree are highly preferred.
• Familiarity with calibration standards and regulations across industries.
• Proactive approach to continuous learning in metrology.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of a wide range of precision instruments (dimensional, electrical, force, temperature, pressure).
• Develop, validate, and refine calibration procedures to ISO 17025 and client requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex measurement issues remotely and resolve malfunctions.
• Provide expert remote consultation on calibration requirements and best practices.
• Mentor and train junior technicians through remote sessions and documentation.
• Maintain detailed calibration records, asset management, and traceability using specialized software.
• Stay current with metrology advancements and industry standards.
• Analyze calibration data to identify trends and assess equipment stability.
• Ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
