Placements24 seeks an accomplished Senior MEP Engineer to lead design coordination and oversee on-site installation for large-scale commercial and industrial projects in Klerksdorp, North West. The ideal candidate will have a PrEng registration with ECSA, 8+ years in MEP, and expert knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• PrEng registration with ECSA required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive MEP experience in large-scale commercial/industrial construction.
• Proven experience from design coordination through commissioning of MEP systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, fire suppression, electrical distribution, lighting and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in MEP design software (AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, Navisworks) and related simulations.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration with ECSA is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in MEP engineering, with a strong emphasis on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing the full lifecycle of MEP systems, from design coordination through to commissioning.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical (HVAC, fire suppression), electrical (power distribution, lighting), and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in using MEP design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, Navisworks) and relevant simulation tools.
• Thorough understanding of South African building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
