Lotus HR And Recruitment seeks an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a national multi-disciplinary construction company. The role is based in Cape Town and involves overseeing mechanical installations at water treatment plants, pump stations and bulk water infrastructure.

The position requires extensive piping, pumps and bulk pipework experience, with a track record in supervision, QA, and coordinating with civil, electrical and instrumentation teams on live projects.

Formación

• 12 years in construction/engineering environments.
• 8+ years in supervisory role overseeing mechanical installations at water/wastewater projects.
• Experience in supervising installation, fabrication, testing and commissioning of pumps and bulk pipework.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multidisciplinary site teams, coordinating mechanical installations with civil, electrical and instrumentation works.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of pumps, motors, valves and process equipment.
• Interpret GA drawings, P&IDs and pipework isometrics; ensure QA and ITPS compliance.
