Job summary

Network Finance is seeking an experienced mechanical project-based sales professional to join an engineering solutions provider delivering equipment and services to mining, manufacturing, energy and infrastructure clients.

You will identify opportunities, develop tailored mechanical solutions, and manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract award, navigating long sales cycles and delivering high-value projects with strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years’ experience in mechanical or project-based technical sales.
• Proven experience in selling engineering projects, systems, or capital equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication, or industrial projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Demonstrated success in managing long sales cycles and closing high-value deals.
• Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commercially driven with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Experience working with clients in mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new project opportunities within the mechanical engineering space.
• Develop customized technical and commercial proposals for clients.
• Manage the full project sales cycle from lead generation to contract award
• Liaise with internal engineering and project teams to ensure solution feasibility.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and technical presentations.
• Monitor project progress and ensure successful delivery aligned to client expectations.
• Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
