Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our project delivery team. This role spans mining, process plant, and infrastructure projects, delivering hands-on project engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate mechanical engineering and design activities, manage scopes, schedules and interfaces, ensuring safe, constructible, fit-for-purpose solutions and effective procurement support.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng/BTech in Mechanical Engineering and professional registration.
• 5-10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years in mining and infrastructure projects.
• At least 3 years on process plant and infrastructure projects.
• Experience in hydrometallurgical or chemical plant projects.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical engineering and design activities across multidisciplinary projects.
• Manage engineering scopes, deliverables, schedules, and interfaces.
• Ensure safety, constructability, and fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Support mechanical procurement packages development and management.
• Facilitate technical communication between engineering, procurement, and site teams.
• Oversee changes, risk management, and project lifecycle activities.
• Provide construction and commissioning support and project handover.
