Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to lead civil engineering packages for mining and mineral processing projects from concept through commissioning and handover. You will work within a multidisciplinary EPCM team and oversee design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5–10 years of civil engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years in project engineering/project delivery.
• Proven EPCM experience in mining/mineral processing or heavy industrial.
• Registered PrEng or progress toward registration.
• Strong project management, leadership & commercial contract skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering civil packages from concept to handover.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• PMP certification and underground mining project experience is a plus.

We're looking for a Civil Project Engineer ready to lead complex engineering packages and deliver mining and mineral processing projects from concept through execution, commissioning and handover.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary EPCM team, you'll provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, overseeing the design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover of civil engineering works, structures and associated infrastructure. You'll collaborate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver technically challenging projects while ensuring exceptional standards of safety, quality and project execution.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 years' Civil Engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years' project engineering/project delivery experience.
• Proven EPCM experience within the mining, mineral processing or heavy industrial sectors.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PrEng) or demonstrable progress towards professional registration.
• Strong technical engineering expertise with excellent project management, leadership and commercial contractual management skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Demonstrated experience delivering civil engineering packages from concept through execution, commissioning and handover.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• PMP certification and underground mining project experience will be advantageous.
