Qualifications

• Bachelor level mechanical engineering degree (BEng or BSc Engineering) is required.
• 5–7 years post-qualification experience.
• ECSA registration as Professional Engineer or in process thereof.
• Experience with Solidworks or similar CAD software; Prokon advantageous.
• Experience with international standards/codes and MS Office suite.
• Programming experience is beneficial.
• Able to conduct training/masterclasses and seminars as required.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities; ability to liaise with clients.

Responsibilities

• Onsite inspections and condition assessment of equipment and plant; consolidate findings; approve observations by team; prepare and present reports.
• Compile proposals; execute engineering design projects; perform design calculations and drawing reviews.
• Manage and oversee implementation of multiple engineering projects; sign-off design projects and manufacturing drawings.
• Interface with engineers, technicians, and other specialists; provide professional and technical engineering support.
• Lead project management, coordination, and team leadership activities.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Develop and deliver repairs procedures and scopes of work.
• Engage in strategic planning and provide technical guidance to clients.
