You will lead the mechanical design and development of next‑generation consumer electronics, from concept through mass production, collaborating with industrial design, electrical engineering and product management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 7+ years in mechanical design for consumer electronics.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360).
• Solid understanding of materials and DFMA.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of enclosures, mechanisms, and thermal solutions.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings; develop BOMs.
• Perform stress, thermal, and tolerance analyses.
• Collaborate with industrial design, electrical engineering, and product management.
• Integrate PCBAs and batteries with mechanical parts.
• Source components and work with suppliers to meet targets.
• Develop and execute product testing plans.
• Troubleshoot design issues during prototyping and production.
• Conduct DFM and DFA reviews.
• Stay current with manufacturing trends in consumer electronics.
