Job summary

Kyndryl Inc. is seeking a seasoned mainframe z/OS specialist to support and advance our z/OS platform services. You will work closely with global teams to plan, implement, and troubleshoot releases, upgrades, and ISV integration. Your role will include leading RCA discussions and guiding technical/operational teams across functions.

The position emphasizes security, system integrity, and ongoing modernization of the mainframe environment within a hybrid, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

Experience in mainframe z/OS platform support.
Act as support and domain expert for z/OS OS and components; provide direct technical support for releases/upgrades.
License management for ISV products; Patch management for z/OS.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot mainframe z/OS and system software.
Protect the mainframe: develop, test, and maintain software that controls OS and hardware.
Be a master troubleshooter to fix complex issues.
Maintain system integrity and security of computer systems.
Design and develop with IT professionals to implement cutting-edge technology at Kyndryl.
Lead RCAs and provide guidance to project teams.
Inform and influence strategy and objectives across departments.
