Job summary

Kyndryl Inc. is seeking a skilled systems/database administrator to manage the backbone of our technology infrastructure.

You will configure, deploy, and maintain database systems while ensuring security, scalability, and reliability across hybrid environments. In this role you will collaborate with multiple teams to implement capacity plans, drive improvements, and support end users and developers in solving complex database issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server 2016 deployment and management.
• Hands-on VMware ESXi virtualization experience.
• Proven cloud migration experience (on‑prem to cloud).
• Automation experience, especially IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service).
• On prem AD FS and Azure AD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and protect systems by configuring, installing and maintaining database management systems to keep peak performance.
• Set security protocols and manage user access to protect data from threats.
• Strategize to scale with capacity planning and growth projections for scalability.
• Coordinate project plans with cross‑functional teams to align with organizational goals.
• Generate enhancements to improve system performance and reliability for customers.
