Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Director of Food & Beverage for a prestigious hotel in Cape Town. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations across the property, driving service excellence, commercial performance and exceptional guest experiences.

The successful candidate will bring strong operational leadership, financial acumen and a proven track record within high-end hospitality.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a senior food and beverage leadership role within a luxury hotel.
• Proven experience managing multiple F&B outlets and large operational teams.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Experience overseeing budgets, costs, revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all food and beverage operations across the hotel.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain exceptional standards of service across all F&B outlets and banqueting operations.
• Oversee departmental budgets, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting.
• Monitor revenue performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial results.
• Recruit, train, mentor and develop F&B management and operational teams.
• Ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to luxury hospitality standards.
• Oversee menu planning and development in collaboration with culinary teams.
• Manage special events, functions and banqueting operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety regulations.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement operational improvements where required.
• Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless overall guest experience.
