Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
• Proven track record of managing complex supply chains and cost-saving initiatives.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with carrier and vendor management.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, and transportation best practices.
• Experience with supply chain planning software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics and supply chain activities for the Tembisa facility.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Negotiate with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Optimize inventory levels to meet demand and minimize costs.
• Maintain tracking systems to monitor movement of goods and timely deliveries.
• Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking and shipping.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and customs procedures.
• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics and supply chain team.
• Analyze data and KPIs to identify risks and opportunities.
