Job summary

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a Logistics Manager for our client in Cape Town. The role will oversee truck loading operations and manage the fleet of vehicles as well as the drivers, ensuring efficient routing and dispatch. The position is permanent and based in South Africa.

You will lead fleet operations, monitor budgets, and drive performance improvements across logistics activities. This role requires strong leadership and tracking capabilities to optimise transport processes.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in logistics, transport, fleet management, or distribution operations.
• At least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing fleets, drivers, routing, dispatch operations, and transportation budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee truck loading operations and manage the fleet of vehicles and drivers.
• Ensure efficient routing, dispatch, and on-time delivery performance.
