Job summary

Objective Personnel in South Africa seeks an experienced Dispatch & Logistics Co-ordinator to oversee dispatch, fleet, BOMs and outsourced transport. You will lead teams, ensure safe loading, coordinate customer collections and maintain accurate records.

The role emphasizes planning, accuracy, and stakeholder communication to meet delivery timelines and optimize costs across Panels, Glass and refrigeration products.

Qualifications

• Matric/Senior Certificate is required.
• Relevant qualification related to dispatch/logistics is required.
• Valid drivers license is required.
• Strong planning, coordination and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Dispatch function, including staff, safety, loading, deliveries and collections.
• Ensure effective, accurate and safe loading of items and outsourced materials.
• Coordinate customer collection requirements, stores collections and third-party collections.
• Manage the Master Schedule and ensure production plans stay on track.
• Oversee Panel BOM function and ensure accurate Bills of Materials.
• Manage the company fleet and ensure roadworthiness and licensing.
• Coordinate outsourced transport from planning through completion and negotiate pricing.
• Track and report dispatch performance and maintain accurate records.
