You will coordinate carrier relationships, monitor performance metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-efficient, reliable supply chain operations for our client.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and regulations.
• Experience with inventory management and warehousing.
• Ability to negotiate with carriers and manage vendor relationships.
• Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to support business objectives.
• Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, including freight, shipping, and delivery schedules.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, warehousing, and distribution processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Resolve logistical issues and discrepancies promptly.
• Manage and mentor junior logistics staff, fostering continuous improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports on logistics activities, costs, and performance for senior management.
