Job summary

Rosebank College, part of The IIE, invites applications for a lecturer in logistics and related modules. You will teach a scheduled hours, engage students, track assessments, and support the Central Academic Team to monitor module performance.

The role requires a Doctorate in logistics or related field, and at least two years higher education lecturing experience in logistics. Working hours are 08h00–17h00, Monday to Friday, with emphasis on at-risk students and academic development.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in logistics or related field is required.
• Experience with student support and academic development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module requirements.
• Manage resources and consult with the Information Centre.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Prepare students for assessments and identify at-risk students.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions.
• Participate in academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on and analyse student module results.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
• Complete academic professional development interventions per cycle.
