Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced QA professional to support our client's SAP S/4HANA migration, with particular focus on the FI (Finance) space.

The role requires strong hands-on quality assurance capability combined with previous practical experience supporting an S/4HANA migration.

The successful resource will work closely with SAP QA leadership, using previous migration experience to help shape the appropriate QA approach, identify risks and common migration pitfalls early, and provide practical guidance throughout the engagement. The role is intended to deliver visible value through both strategic guidance and hands‑on execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide SAP QA leadership on an appropriate QA approach for the S/4HANA migration, particularly within FI.
• Apply previous S/4HANA migration experience to identify quality risks, migration pitfalls, dependencies and areas requiring early QA attention.
• Provide practical recommendations to strengthen test planning, coverage, governance and migration readiness.
• Work hands‑on with QA and delivery teams across test analysis, test design, execution support, defect investigation and quality reporting as required.
• Review requirements, business processes, migration scope and solution changes to identify appropriate test scenarios and coverage.
• Support planning and coordination across relevant test phases, including integration, regression and business/UAT activities where applicable.
• Help ensure defects, risks, blockers and quality concerns are identified early, clearly communicated and appropriately escalated.
• Collaborate with SAP functional, technical, business and QA stakeholders to resolve quality issues and support informed delivery decisions.
• Contribute reusable QA practices and lessons from previous SAP transformation programmes as the migration expands beyond Finance.
• Remain self‑managed and proactive, taking ownership of assigned QA activities and driving them through to completion.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong senior‑level Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering background within complex enterprise programmes.
• Demonstrable previous experience supporting an SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation.
• Strong SAP FI (Finance) testing experience and understanding of Finance‑related business processes and integration points.
• Solid understanding of SAP testing across end‑to‑end business processes, integrations, regression and data‑dependent scenarios.
• Experience identifying and managing QA risks associated with large‑scale system migrations and transformation programmes.
• Ability to translate migration and business requirements into practical test approaches, scenarios and quality controls.
• Strong defect analysis, risk management, stakeholder communication and reporting capability.
• Cross‑module SAP knowledge is highly desirable, enabling the resource to support future migration phases outside Finance.
• UiPath experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
