Job summary

Indsafri is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer (Intermediate/Senior) to join our IT & Data team. Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices to drive business growth and operational excellence.

You'll work with Java, Spring, Angular, cloud-native architectures, and API-driven distributed systems, applying Agile practices and AI-assisted development to boost productivity and code quality across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

Relevant IT Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience in financial services or investments is advantageous.
4–6 years of software development experience.
10+ years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
Build scalable microservices and distributed systems using Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain Angular-based front-end applications and UIs.
Create and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
Maintain, enhance, and support existing applications and platforms.
Participate in solution design sessions and contribute to architecture decisions.
Apply object-oriented analysis and development patterns for maintainable solutions.
Design secure, scalable, high-performing applications and integrations.
Work with REST, SOAP, messaging technologies, JMS, IBM MQ, AWS SQS, XML and JSON.
