Placements24 in Polokwane, Limpopo, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java and the Spring framework for a permanent, full-time role with hybrid work options. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions.

You should have 5+ years of experience, knowledge of REST, microservices, relational databases, and cloud platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
