Job summary

Accso - Accelerated Solutions GmbH in Cape Town is seeking a senior Java expert to design, develop, and implement software solutions across consulting and projects with leading German clients. You will build enterprise Java applications using agentic methods and mentor colleagues transitioning to AI-enabled development workflows.

You should bring 8+ years in the Java ecosystem, strong Spring experience, cloud and containerization skills, and a solid grasp of modern architecture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Java ecosystem with Spring Boot/Spring Security/Spring Data or Quarkus/Micronaut.
• Experience rebuilding development workflows around AI agents for productivity gains.
• Understanding of Copilot vs Claude Code for agentic feature development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions throughout the software development process.
• Build enterprise Java applications using agentic methods.
• Review and validate AI-generated code for quality and reliability.
• Mentor team members transitioning to agentic development workflows.
• Contribute to methodology development.
