Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior IT Technologist to deliver hands‑on infrastructure support across office, manufacturing, distribution, and lab environments. You will ensure stability, performance, and uptime of critical IT systems as a key on‑site infrastructure expert.

You will work with local and global IT teams, troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate site activities, and manage vendor relationships while maintaining compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• Matric with a 3‑year IT diploma/degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience across networks, servers, storage and backup.
• CCNA certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities in infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and document infrastructure solutions.
• Manage configuration, capacity, reliability, and performance.
• Monitor environments, troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, and optimize performance.
• Provide advanced support for network infrastructure and multi‑site connectivity.
• Lead or support multi‑site infrastructure projects and vendor coordination.
