We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Technologist to deliver advanced, hands‑on infrastructure support and deployments across office, manufacturing, distribution, administrative, and lab environments. In this role, you will act as a key on‑site infrastructure expert, ensuring the stability, performance, and uptime of critical IT systems.
The Senior IT Technologist role involves working closely with local and global IT teams to support and optimize infrastructure operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, coordinating site activities, managing vendor relationships, and executing projects across various locations. The position requires strong technical skills in networking, computing, storage, and end‑user technologies, as well as maintaining compliance with hardware, software, and security standards. After‑hours support, on‑call duties, and occasional travel are also part of the role.
Preferred qualifications include a CCNA certification or equivalent, previous Medtronic experience, and knowledge of both cloud and on‑premises data center environments. It is also helpful to have experience with UPS systems, power supply, structured cabling, and leading or coordinating IT projects. Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, and experience with audio‑visual and unified communications technologies are also valued. In addition, proficiency in SCCM, Intune, and PowerShell, along with strong skills in log analysis, debugging, and infrastructure optimization, would be beneficial.
