Job summary

Toys R Us and Babies R Us South Africa in Durban seeks a Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Specialist to maintain stability, security, and efficiency of the company’s IT infrastructure, spanning servers, networks, storage, endpoints, and critical apps. You will collaborate with MSPs to ensure business continuity.

Role involves travel to stores and offices within South Africa and neighboring countries for onsite IT support, implementations, and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Systems Administration or IT Infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge: Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, VMware/Hyper‑V.
• Networking fundamentals (Meraki/HP switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of the IT infrastructure across locations.
• Manage servers, networks, storage, endpoints, and business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with MSPs to ensure business continuity and uptime.
• Travel to stores and offices within South Africa and neighbouring countries for onsite support and upgrades.
