Job summary

Mr-Price-Group seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage enterprise servers, storage and cloud environments in Durban, South Africa. You will configure, upgrade and maintain systems, ensuring capacity, security and reliability.

You will administer Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune and Microsoft 365, coordinate with vendors and lead technical projects. A strong ITIL background and mentoring of juniors are expected.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or Microsoft Certifications (MCSE/MCITP).
• Storage Certification (Advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years in a technical role with servers and storage.
• Knowledge of hardware platforms, converged infra, networking, SAN/NAS.
• Experience with Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on management of enterprise-class server, storage and cloud infrastructure.
• Configure, upgrade, install and manage server and storage tools.
• Perform capacity planning for scalability and availability.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and configuration issues.
• Maintain SAN/NAS and manage lifecycle, patching, and optimisations.
• Administer Entra ID (Azure AD) including identity governance, conditional access, RBAC and SSO.
• Manage Intune device enrolment, compliance policies and deployments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 suite and licensing.
• Collaborate with vendor support and participate in IT project delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and enforce ITIL-aligned change processes.
• Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
