Job summary

Stratlab in South Africa seeks a Senior Investment Accountant to lead financial and fund accounting within investment structures. You will manage month-end close, NAV calculations, investor reporting and IFRS disclosures in a hands-on role.

You should bring 5+ years in financial and fund accounting, IFRS expertise, and experience setting up fund structures. Commercially minded with strong analytical and collaboration skills are essential.

Our client is an established investment business operating across the investment and fund management space. We are looking for a Senior Investment Accountant with strong financial accounting and fund accounting experience.

The role

What we need

The key requirement is a combination of strong financial accounting + fund/investment accounting experience. The ideal candidate will also have experience with setting up or launching a fund/fund structure and be commercially minded, with the ability to understand both the accounting and the investment business. Requirements:

• BCom Accounting or similar
• 5+ years' financial and fund/investment accounting experience
• Strong IFRS knowledge
• Fund accounting/investment systems advantageous
