Job summary

Rio Tinto's Richards Bay Minerals (RBM) unit seeks a Senior Communications Advisor to lead employee engagement and internal communications across RBM, strengthening connection and participation through clear, timely messaging. You will drive the culture programme, embed the RBM brand internally, develop an employee value proposition with HR, and craft engaging content for frontline teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Communications/Marketing/Journalism/Public Relations
• Certificate in DTP (Desk Top Publishing) will be an added advantage
• Digital Marketing knowledge will be an added advantage
• South African driver’s license (with own car)

Responsibilities

• Lead all employee engagement and internal communications across RBM
• Lead communications for the RBM culture programme and campaigns
• Embed the RBM brand internally and promote its identity
• Develop an employee brand ambassadorship programme
• Support implementation of the Employee Value Proposition with HR
• Oversee internal communication channels and newsletters
• Capture frontline stories to improve communication reach
