About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and highly competent Senior Insurance Claims Adjuster to join their team based in Randburg . In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving a portfolio of complex and high-value insurance claims with efficiency and accuracy. You will conduct detailed investigations, negotiate settlements, and ensure claims are processed in line with policy terms and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will possess exceptional investigative, negotiation, and communication skills, along with a thorough understanding of various insurance lines. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and adjudicate a caseload of complex and high-value insurance claims from initiation to closure.
• Conduct thorough investigations, including site visits where necessary, to assess damage and liability.
• Negotiate fair settlements with policyholders and third-party representatives.
• Interpret policy wordings and apply them accurately to claim circumstances.
• Ensure all claim activities are accurately documented and reported in compliance with company procedures.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior adjusters on technical aspects and best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as an Insurance Claims Adjuster or similar role.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling claims across multiple insurance disciplines (e.g., Property, Casualty, Motor).
• Strong negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail in claim assessment.
• Proficiency with claims management software and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks.
• Relevant professional qualifications in insurance or claims management are required.
