Job summary

Network Recruitment seeks a senior data insights leader to turn complex data into strategic actions for clients and internal teams. You will champion an automation-first approach, replacing manual reporting with scalable, self-serve solutions and ensure insights are actionable and business-focused.

You will present to executives, define standards, and coach a high-performing team to deliver high-value outcomes, while leveraging AI and modern analytics tools to scale impact.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Data Science, Business analytics, Market research, Statistics, Economics or related.
• 7-10 years in research, customer insight, analytics, or business intelligence with leadership experience.
• Proven experience presenting to executives and clients using insights.

Turn data into strategic insights by answering key business questions and translating findings into clear recommendations and actionable priorities Proactively identify trends, risks, opportunities, and root causes to drive informed decision-making. Provide a strong, evidence-based point of view in every client and stakeholder engagement. Define and uphold best-in-class insight standards while coaching and developing the team to consistently deliver high-value outcomes. Act as a trusted strategic partner to clients and internal teams, shaping plans and priorities rather than simply responding to requests. Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, clearly linking data to business outcomes. Lead an automation-first insights function, replacing manual reporting with scalable, automated, and self-service solutions. Leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance analysis, improve efficiency, and scale insight delivery while maintaining quality and accountability.

Establish standardized templates, data models, and processes to ensure consistent, efficient, and sustainable delivery.

Job Experience and skill required

• Postgraduate qualification - Degree / Honours / Maters in Data Science, Business analytics, Market research, Statistics, Economics or related
• 7 - 10 years in research, customer insight, analytics, or business intelligence with a proven track record of leading teams, functions, or strategic insight initiatives at a senior level
• Proven experience working with executives and client strategy with insights
• Experience with leading the automation or transformation of reporting and analytics workflows, materially reducing manual effort and cycle time
• Strong command of data analytics (data modelling, trends analysis and synthesis of quantitive and qualitative inputs. Hands on BI Dashboard tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Work experience with data transformation and automation approaches (SQL, Python, Power Query or modern lo code and AI tools)
• Practical experience applying AI / LLM tools
