Job summary

Hire Far Out is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead a growing Data & Insight function in a global organisation. You will bridge business needs, data products, AI capability and delivery to turn complex questions into practical data solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Data, you will own the data products roadmap and lead a team of Data Analysts and BI Developers, championing data literacy and the adoption of AI across international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a numerate, analytical or technology-related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience across business analysis, data analytics, BI, data products or a related environment.
• Strong Business Analysis capability, with proven experience translating stakeholder needs into analytical or technical solutions.
• Previous experience leading people, projects or data initiatives, with the confidence and energy to drive engagement and change.
• Strong understanding of data and analytics, ideally with previous hands‑on experience as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, Data Scientist or similar.
• Experience with enterprise BI platforms such as Power BI/Fabric, Tableau, Looker or Qlik, together with working knowledge of SQL, Excel and ideally Python.
• Practical experience using AI tools and agents, with a forward-looking approach to how AI can improve analytical workflows and organisational productivity.

Role Overview

A well-established global organisation focused on international community development is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a leading role within its growing Data & Insight function.

This is not a traditional BA role focused only on requirements gathering. You will act as the bridge between business needs, data products, AI capability and delivery, helping teams across the organisation turn complex questions into practical, high-value data solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Data, you will take ownership of the data products roadmap while leading a team of Data Analysts and BI Developers. A major part of the role is leadership through influence: winning stakeholders over, creating enthusiasm around what data can enable, and championing better use of data and AI across the organisation.

You do not need to be the deepest technical specialist in the team, but you must have strong data literacy and enough practical experience to confidently lead conversations around analytics, data products and AI.
