Job summary

Network Finance in Randburg, South Africa is seeking a Senior Data Insights Lead to translate complex data into strategic business recommendations. You will partner with executives and clients, shaping plans and priorities with evidence-based insights.

The role emphasizes automation of reporting, deployment of AI/LLM tools, and scalable BI dashboards (PowerBI/Tableau/Looker). You will mentor teams and drive high-value, data-driven decisions across the business.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in data science, business analytics, market research, statistics, economics or related fields.
• 7-10 years in research, customer insight, analytics, or business intelligence with a proven track record of leading teams, functions, or strategic insight initiatives at a senior level
• Proven experience working with executives and client strategy with insights.
• Experience with leading the automation or transformation of reporting and analytics workflows, materially reducing manual effort and cycle time
• Strong command of data analytics (data modelling, trends analysis and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative inputs)
• Hands on BI dashboard tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Work experience with data transformation and automation approaches (SQL, Python, Power Query or modern low-code and AI tools)
• Practical experience applying AI / LLM tools

• Lead an automation-first insights function, replacing manual reporting with scalable, automated, and self-service solutions.
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance analysis, improve efficiency, and scale insight delivery while maintaining quality and accountability.
• Establish standardized templates, data models, and processes to ensure consistent, efficient, and sustainable delivery.
