Job summary

Datacentrix is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a Durban-based, 12-month contract to support a secure, resilient IT environment. The role covers AD and Identity, Microsoft 365/Azure, Fortinet security, WAN resilience, endpoint management (SCCM/Intune), CrowdStrike, and DR/BCP, with emphasis on delivering stable operations and strategic improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience across Active Directory and Identity Services across multiple sites.
• Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
• FortiGate firewalls and network security.
• WAN connectivity, network resilience and site infrastructure.
• Endpoint management using SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune.
• Security platforms, including CrowdStrike.
• Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Matric and relevant tertiary qualification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Identity & Access Administrator (SC-300).
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102).
• Fortinet Certified Associate/Professional in Cybersecurity or Fortinet FCP – Network Security; Cisco CCNA/CCNP; CrowdStrike certification/training.
