Placements24 represents a distinguished engineering and project management firm in Paarl, Western Cape, seeking a Senior Infrastructure Civil Engineer. You will lead design, planning and oversight of civil infrastructure projects including roads, bulk earthworks, water and sanitation, and site development for public and private sectors.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Pr. Eng. preferred).
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and development of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, stormwater systems, and site services.
• Manage bulk earthworks, grading, and site preparation designs.
• Oversee the design of water supply and distribution networks, and wastewater collection systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and option analyses for infrastructure development.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers, as well as architects and surveyors.
• Liaise with municipal authorities, government agencies, and clients to obtain approvals and manage expectations.
• Supervise construction activities and provide technical support to site teams.
• Mentor and guide junior civil engineers and technicians.
