The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT risk and security auditing, holds CISA/CRISC/CIA, and is proficient with COBIT/NIST frameworks; a bachelor's in CS or related field is required. Fully remote with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Auditing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security auditing or IT risk management.
• Expert knowledge of IT audit frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST) and risk assessment techniques.
• Experience with security governance, regulatory compliance, and data protection laws.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CIA are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive information security audits across diverse IT systems and business processes.
• Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls, including access management and data privacy.
• Assess compliance with regulatory mandates and industry best practices such as SOX and ISO 27001.
• Document audit findings meticulously and prepare detailed, actionable audit reports.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement remediation plans for identified deficiencies.
• Stay abreast of emerging risks, threats, and audit methodologies within information security.
