Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Information Security Auditor to strengthen assurance and compliance capabilities in Kimberley. You will lead audit engagements, evaluate IT controls, and report on risks and remediation actions to improve the organization’s security posture.

Responsibilities include coordinating with IT, legal, and business units, staying current with NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT standards, and delivering strategic recommendations to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT auditing, cybersecurity, or risk management.
• In-depth knowledge of IT control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT) and audit methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive information security audits and assessments across the organization.
• Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of IT security controls, policies, and procedures.
• Identify, document, and report on security vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance gaps.
• Develop detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and business units to address audit findings and track corrective actions.
• Stay current with evolving security standards, regulations, and audit best practices.
