Placements24 is seeking an Information Security Architect to design and implement robust security solutions aligned with business objectives in Upington. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in information security with a focus on security architecture and design.
• Proven experience designing secure solutions for on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• In-depth knowledge of security domains including network security, cryptography, IAM; familiarity with risk management and threat modeling; experience with NIST CSF and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the organization's overall information security architecture.
• Define security standards, patterns, and best practices for infrastructure, applications, and cloud deployments.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies to enhance the security posture.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security into the system lifecycle.
• Develop and document security architecture blueprints and guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on security best practices to engineering and operations teams.
