Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Analyst to join our team in Benoni. The role focuses on identifying and mitigating security risks across the organization, conducting security assessments, monitoring alerts, and contributing to policy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; security certs preferred.
• 4–6 years of professional information security experience.
• Proficiency with SIEM, vulnerability management, and endpoint security tools.
• Strong knowledge of network and OS security; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify security weaknesses.
• Monitor security systems and analyze logs to detect and respond to security incidents and policy violations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
• Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into system design and operations.
• Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and defense strategies.
