Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on risk management and incident response.
• In-depth knowledge of security principles, best practices, and relevant technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, cryptography).

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security weaknesses.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor security alerts and events, investigating and responding to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Design and implement security controls for networks, applications, and data.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into the system development lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior security analysts and other IT personnel.
• Stay abreast of the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, recommending improvements as necessary.
• Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM platforms.
