Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineer in Sandton to optimize end-to-end supply chain, including warehousing, transport and inventory management. The role focuses on reducing costs, improving delivery times and boosting overall supply chain performance.

You will lead cross-functional projects, design future supply chain networks using simulation, and collaborate with partners to ensure seamless operations and credible KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in industrial engineering with focus on supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain optimization, logistics and inventory control.
• Proficiency in simulation software, WMS/TMS systems and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce lead times and costs.
• Design and model future supply chain networks using simulation and analytics.
• Collaborate with logistics partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Implement and manage performance metrics and reporting for supply chain activities.
• Lead projects to improve inventory accuracy, stock levels and demand forecasting.
