Job summary

Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) seeks a seasoned ICT professional to provide third-line support for the IT Support Team. You will oversee on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, VMware and security, with responsibility for disaster recovery and network uptime.

The role requires 5+ years in a large IT environment, strong project coordination, and experience working with external service providers. On-site Cape Town location, competitive package.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate or equivalent (NQF 4).
• Driver’s license (own transport).
• Degree/Diploma in IT (NQF 6) would be advantageous.
• Current industry certifications in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ICT systems availability across LAN/WAN, security and backups.
• Administer On-Premises and Cloud environments including Microsoft 365.
• VMware virtualised environment administration and support.
• Manage incidents, root cause analysis and disaster recovery readiness.
• Project coordination, contract and service provider oversight.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations and documentation.
