Job summary

Instacom - Instant Communication Solutions (PTY) Ltd in Centurion is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our IT Infrastructure and IT Support teams, reporting to the CTO. The role drives strategic initiatives, oversees projects, manages vendors, and ensures compliant, secure, and reliable IT operations across the business.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor's in IT, 3+ years in ICT management, and 3–5 years of team leadership, with certifications such as ITIL/PMP/PRINCE2,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in IT or related field.
• 3+ years in ICT management or senior tech leadership.
• 3–5 years leading technical teams.
• Experience in IT infrastructure, support, and operations.
• Vendor, contract, and project management experience.
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance.
• Budget planning and financial management experience is a plus.
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP/PRINCE2, CISSP, Azure, AWS or VMware are advantageous.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Manager to lead our Information Technology function. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to the IT Infrastructure and IT Support teams, oversee technology projects, manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements, and maintain secure, resilient, and high-performing IT operations that support the business.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in an ICT management or senior technical leadership role.
• 3-5 years' experience managing and developing technical teams.
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, IT support services, and operational environments.
• Experience in vendor, contract, and project management.
• Sound knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance principles.
• Budget planning and financial management experience will be advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or VMware will be advantageous.
