Job summary

Prescient Fund Services is seeking an accomplished Project Manager (ICT PMO) to own and drive full project lifecycles across technical, regulatory and operational programmes in Cape Town. You will coordinate software procurement, vendor implementations, and system integrations through a structured SDLC, engaging BAs, Developers and Architects to ensure delivery against commitments.

The role requires 8+ years' experience in ICT project management within financial services, with proven governance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in ICT supporting fund services or financial services.
• Experience delivering technology-driven, operational and regulatory projects through full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive full project lifecycle from initiation to closure across technical, operational and regulatory programmes.
• Coordinate software procurement, vendor implementations, system integrations, and in-house development projects within structured SDLC delivery.
• Manage relationships with business operations, ICT/PMO leadership and external vendors; run steering committees and workshops.
• Oversee scope changes and RAID logs with proactive mitigation and escalation.
• Coordinate external software vendors, system integrators and service providers against contracts and SLAs.
• Prioritise BAU enhancements and significant incidents escalated from operations teams.
• Lead regulatory change programmes with Compliance, Legal and ICT teams to meet deadlines.
• Produce accurate project status reports, executive dashboards and portfolio MI for Head of PMO, CTO and CIO.
• Identify and manage cross-project risks and interdependencies across the ICT portfolio.
• Embed lessons-learned processes at project closure and contribute to PMO standards.
