Placements24 seeks a Telecom Network Optimization Engineer to join a hybrid team, working remotely with occasional on-site needs in Mahikeng. You will analyze network data and implement strategies to optimize traffic flow and signal quality across 2G/3G/4G/5G networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in telecom network performance analysis and optimization.
• Strong understanding of mobile network technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G) and core network functions.
• Proficiency with network performance monitoring tools and data analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network performance data, KPIs, and traffic patterns to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement optimization strategies for voice, data, and mobile network services.
• Tune network parameters, configurations, and protocols to enhance efficiency, reduce latency, and improve user experience.
• Collaborate with network operations and planning teams to implement optimization changes and monitor their impact.
• Conduct root cause analysis for performance degradation issues and implement corrective actions.
