Datonomy Solutions (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead HR Shared Services initiatives within a large retail organisation. This contract role is onsite in Cape Town, requiring coordination of business, HR, technology and operational stakeholders to improve shared services processes and systems.

The successful candidate will engage C-suite sponsors, drive delivery in a lean environment and manage governance, risk and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of project management experience.
• Experience delivering HR/shared services or enterprise systems projects.
• Proven experience engaging with CIO or other C-suite sponsors.
• Strong stakeholder management across business and technology functions.
• Hands-on, delivery-focused leadership with governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR Shared Services projects from initiation to handover.
• Define scope, outcomes, requirements and priorities with stakeholders.
• Coordinate HR, shared services, technology and external partners.
• Manage project plans, resources, milestones, risks and issues.
• Coordinate process changes and system activities across teams.
• Drive testing including integration and user acceptance testing.
• Support change management, communications and training.
• Engage executives with clear reporting and timely decisions.
• Resolve obstacles and ensure changes are documented and handed off.
