Placements24 is seeking a strategic Operations Manager to lead the Pretoria Shared Services division. The role focuses on optimizing HR, IT, finance, and admin functions, driving process improvements, and managing vendor relationships within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, ERP experience, and a track record of delivering cost savings while maintaining service quality in a dynamic organization based in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with specific experience in shared services or centralized functions.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Strong understanding of service level agreements and vendor management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and process automation tools is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the shared services center, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of services provided.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Lead and develop the shared services team, fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Implement performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of shared services.
• Manage the budget for the shared services department, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
