Job summary

Amazon Development Centre South Africa is seeking an experienced Senior HR Partner to counsel managers, handle sensitive employee topics, and drive scalable HR programs in the region.

You will collaborate with HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, and Legal to implement labor law changes, lead performance and policy initiatives, and develop long-term solutions with data-driven insights. Strong coaching, project management, and stakeholder influence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in HR, business, or a related field.
• 9+ years of HR specialist or HR generalist experience.
• Knowledge of HR management and labor law in South Africa.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple projects with strong time management.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support managers and senior leaders on sensitive employee topics across regions.
• Lead talent and performance management processes and HR policy consultations.
• Implement labor law and organizational changes at country or regional level.
• Identify trends and address needs in collaboration with HR and business stakeholders.
• Handle complex employee relations cases, investigations, and CCMA-related activities.
• Drive change initiatives and improve manager experience through data-driven insights.
• Develop and communicate strategic HR narratives to leadership.
