Pedros Chicken in KwaZulu-Natal seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function across our Distribution Centre network. You will partner with DC leadership to translate business goals into people solutions and drive employee relations, labour compliance, workforce planning and HR service delivery.

This senior leadership role requires hands-on guidance, coaching of DC HR teams, risk management and delivering practical HR outcomes in a high-volume, shift-based environment, with travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years' progressive HR experience, including management-level exposure.
• Experience leading HR in multi-site, operational environments.
• Strong employee and labour relations experience, including CCMA matters.
• Knowledge of SA employment legislation: LRA, BCEA, EEA, COIDA, SDA, UIF.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR leadership across the Distribution Centre network.
• Partner with DC Heads of Department to align people strategies with operations.
• Lead workforce planning and manage TES utilisation and costs.
• Oversee disciplinary, grievance, and CCMA processes with governance.
• Drive HR governance, compliance and employee data integrity.
• Lead talent reviews, development, and succession planning.
• Promote values and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Oversee onboarding, payroll inputs, reporting and HR projects.
