Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Hotel Operations Manager to oversee operations at our flagship property in Midrand. You will lead all hotel departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in hotel management, including 2 years in a senior operational role, and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration. Strong leadership and revenue management knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hotel management experience.
• At least 2 years in a senior operational role.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel operations systems, revenue management and marketing concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage day-to-day operations across all hotel departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance).
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to boost guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Oversee budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability targets are met.
• Lead and mentor department managers and staff to foster high performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Act as liaison between hotel management and guests to address concerns promptly.
