Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hardware design and product development experience.
• Expertise in schematic design and PCB layout using industry tools.
• Strong digital/analog circuit design, power management and signal integrity.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools and test methodologies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electronic circuits and systems (schematic capture and PCB layout).
• Select components for performance, cost, and availability; ensure DFx.
• Conduct hardware testing, bring-up, validation, and performance characterization.
• Collaborate with firmware/software engineers for hardware/software integration.
• Troubleshoot issues and support manufacturing partners for ramp-up.

About the Role

You will play a crucial role in driving hardware innovation, from initial concept through to mass production, ensuring our client stays at the forefront of the industry. This position is ideal for a seasoned engineer with a strong background in schematic design, PCB layout, system integration, and hardware testing. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and manufacturing partners in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electronic circuits and systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard tools.
• Select and specify electronic components, ensuring performance, cost-effectiveness, and availability.
• Conduct thorough hardware testing and validation, including bring-up, functional testing, and performance characterization.
• Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and support production ramp-up, leveraging both remote and on-site communication channels.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in hardware design and product development.
• Expertise in schematic design and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro).
• Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design, power management, and signal integrity.
