Job summary

HotelJobs in Cape Town seeks an experienced HR leader to own the people agenda across multiple properties. Based in Cape Town, Stellenbosch or Franschhoek, you will report to the Group General Manager and drive recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance reviews.

You will also lead succession planning, workforce planning, rewards, and L&D, while owning HR policies, contracts and compliance. The role demands strong business acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HR experience with clear career progression
• Qualification in HR or related field preferred
• Experience as HR Manager/HRBP or similar
• Hospitality experience beneficial
• Generalist HR skills from sourcing to onboarding
• Experience in employee relations
• Knowledge of SA labour laws BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHSA
• Ability to advise operational managers
• Strong organisational & communication skills
• Familiar with HR systems and AI tool usage

• Oversee full recruitment and onboarding cycle
